Throughout the Twin Rocks Estate property, large standing granite stones have a guarding presence, causing the casual wanderer to stop and take note. These monoliths frame the vineyard landscape, protruding up and among the native oaks. The estates soil is perfect for cultivating varietals such as Grenache Noir, Barbera, Muscat, and Grenache Blanc; unique offerings compared to other wine regions of Northern California. Because of the perfect Mediterranean climate and well-draining soil, the estate can dry-farm which allows for less water usage during irrigation. This sustainable farming practice is a trusted technique for producing high-quality fruit and wines with complex, intense flavors.
